The first national health, environment, and sustainability event was held and hosted by the Iran Chamber of Commerce, and at the closing stage of this event, Zagros Petrochemical Company was recognized as the outstanding one.
As per the
report of the public relations department of Zagros Petrochemical Company, the
health, environment, and sustainability event was held taking into account the
interrelationship of health and the environment and with a special focus on the
impact of these two on the development and sustainability of the country,
following the collaboration of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education,
Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, and the Chamber of Commerce,
Industries, Mines, and Agriculture of Iran as well as the UNESCO Health and
Education Department (supporter of the national process).
Based on this
report, 40 companies participated in this national event and presented their
achievements regarding preserving health, environment, and sustainability to
the event secretariat. Among all participants, six enterprises were recognized
and acknowledged by the jury.
ZPC was also
acknowledged and granted a certificate of appreciation in the wake of its
measures regarding the support and preserving sand gazelle in the Mond region.
